Patricia Rita (McMahon) Hinkley passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center in Schenectady, NY on January 16th, 2024. Pat was born on July 22nd,1938 in Hoosick Falls, NY and was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Burke) McMahon. She was married to her late husband Robert Hinkley for 51 years and they resided in Kingston, NY. Pat worked in the business office at Kingston’s Benedictine Hospital for several years after she was first married. Hoosick Falls – Janet M. Betit, 91, passed away on Tuesday, November 28th at the Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Hoosick Falls. Janet was born on February 15th, 1932, in Bennington, VT, the daughter of the late Smith and Alice (Pinkham) Brown.
Janet attended school in Hoosick Falls. She was employed as a Home Health Aide with the Visiting Nurses Home Care in Albany, NY. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hoosick Falls, where she was active with several of the clubs. Janet enjoyed walking and crocheting. Robert R. “Rudy” Blinstrub Sr., 87, passed away on Wednesday, September 6th, at Albany Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Theresa A. Blinstrub (Schmiegel).
Rudy was born on June 5th, 1936, in Hoosick Falls, NY, the son of the late William and Sophie (Couch) Blinstrub. He graduated from St. Mary’s Academy high school and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed as a salesman for Casa Imports in Utica, NY. Rudy was a simple, loving, hardworking man who loved to laugh and joke. He enjoyed reading, taking walks with his dogs, and time spent with his family.
