Varsity Swim Meet

Berlin/New Lebanon took their first loss of the season to a talented Mt. Anthony team. Mt. Anthony took a commanding 16-2 lead to start the meet by placing 1st and 2nd in the first two races. Berlin-New Lebanon would bounce back with George Lamphere-Webster winning the 200 IM and the 100 Breaststroke and Lance Schorder winning the 50 and 100 Freestyle.  Cadence Ward placed first in the 100 Backstroke as well. The relay team of Lance Schroder, Jordan Sotek, Cadence Ward and George Lamphere-Webster would edge out Mt. Anthony in the 400 Free Relay by 3 tenths of a second.  Congratulations to Lucy Fourger for dropping 20 seconds in her 500 Freestyle.

Student Installs Little Free Libraries

Daisy Gail, a dedicated student at the New Lebanon Central School District, has taken the initiative to enrich the community by installing little free libraries throughout the school district.

Inspired to make a meaningful impact, Daisy embarked on the project as part of her Silver Award in Girl Scouts. "I wanted to do a meaningful idea that would really impact the community positively," Daisy said. "I have always enjoyed little free libraries and thought if our town had a few, it would make it a better community."

Alumni Game

Berlin and New Lebanon soccer alumni are having a game on Friday, October 11th, at 5:30 pm at the New Lebanon Jr/Sr High School. A $20 suggested donation benefits New Lebanon Travel Club. Baldwin Memorial Award Winner Announced

The Lebanon Valley Historical Society (LVHS) is proud to announce Gabriel Kalisz of Canaan as the 2024 recipient of the Bruce Baldwin Memorial Award.

As part of his stellar high school career, which included being named Valedictorian of his graduating class, Gabe has taken a number of university-level courses, including US History, earning an Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors and Annotations of Mastery in Math and Science. This fall he will be continuing his education at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, and plans to major in Electrical Engineering.

Class of 2024 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

New Athletics Logo Revealed

The Berlin-New Lebanon (BNL) Athletic Department, in conjunction with the Merged Sports Committee (MSC), a committee composed of BNL student-athletes, parents, coaches, and both schools’ Athletic Directors, is proud to announce the completion of the new BNL Athletic sports logo and the introduction of new team colors. This process was student-led and driven with the Berlin and New Lebanon Athletic Departments and Merged Sports Committee (MSC) helping to craft the design based off of student responses.

New Lebanon School Supply Drive

Lebanon Valley Community Corporation (LVCC), a newly formed 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity organization, fosters the community and economic well-being of the Town of New Lebanon, its residents, and its neighbors.

New Lebanon Class of 2023 Parade

We are planning a graduate recessional parade immediately following graduation on Friday, June 23rd. The hope is to begin around 7:15 pm, but will be dependent on when the graduation ceremony has concluded. The parade will be led by area emergency service vehicles who will be escorting our senior class in their cars from Walter B. Howard Elementary School to the Junior/Senior High School to symbolize their educational journey in our district. Community members are invited to park their cars along Route 20/22 to cheer on our graduates. At the high school, the student parade will be met with teachers from both buildings with signs celebrating their successes.
