U. S. Senator Gillibrand Forms Exploratory Committee

Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, who owns a home in Brunswick, appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” Tuesday night, January 15, to announce she is forming an exploratory committee for a possible presidential bid in 2020. The Associated Press is quoting the Democratic New York junior senator as saying “It’s an important first step and it’s one I am taking because I am going to run.”

This is year four for Luke Hoag’s campaign to raise money for the Make a Wish Campaign, and on Monday morning, December 3, the students at Tamarac Elementary presented Luke with 4,119 letters to Santa, to deliver to Macy’s on December 7, what is called Believe Day.

Three Tamarac music students auditioned and were selected to perform with the Empire State Youth Chorale and Orchestra in Melodies of Christmas the week of December 13 through 16 at Proctor’s Theater in Schenectady.
