The Petersburgh Public Library will be holding its annual Plant, Book and Bake Sale on Saturday, May 21, from 9 am until 1 pm. Donations of plants, baked goods and books would be appreciated. Containers to put your plant donations into are available at the Library for you to pick up at your convenience.

Girl Scouts Open Thrift Shop For Additional Hours In May
To help get great clothes for great prices into the hands of those who need them, Girl Scouts from local Service Unit #155 will again be opening the Thrift Shop for business on Friday, May 6, from 4 to 7 pm and Saturday, May 7, from 9:30 am to noon. The shop is located at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church (far right door, second floor) on Main Street, Hoosick Falls.

Andrew Morin Named To SVC Provost List
Andrew Morin of Hoosick Falls was named to the Provost List at Southern Vermont College. The Provost List recognizes full-time students who have earned a minimum grade point average of 3.25 during the fall semester.

Grafton Center Cemetery Association Meeting
The Grafton Center Cemetery Association will hold its biannual meeting on Wednesday, May 4, at the Grafton Community Library. This is a change in location from previous meetings. The meeting will begin at 7 pm.
New members are urgently needed. If you have any interest in the preservation and administration of this historic cemetery, if you have family buried there or if you want to be a little more involved in your community, this is the place for you. Please join us!
West Hoosick F.D. Mothers Day Pancake Breakfast
The West Hoosick Fire Department announces an “All You Can Eat” breakfast at the Fire House on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 8, from 7:30 to 11 am.
The menu includes pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. What better way to start the day that is set aside to honor our mothers than bringing the whole family out to a great breakfast.

Summer Bowling Leagues At Barbecue Recreation
