The Taconic Valley Soccer Club will be holding registration for the following CDYSL teams: U12G, U14Co-Ed, U16G and U19B. Registration will be held at the Berlin Library on February 3, 10 and 17 from 7 to 9 pm and February 5, 12 and 19 from 10 am to 1 pm. Registration can also be done online at www.sportssignup.com/taconicvalley.start. Credit cards are accepted.

Spanish Language Fun For Families At The Grafton Library
Angela Jimenez leads the Spanish Language Fun for Families program at the Grafton Community Library on the first Friday of each month beginning at 6:30 pm. Activities, which are geared for school-age children, include stories and games that teach beginning words and phrases in Spanish.

HACA Free Tax Service Opens
The Hoosick Area Church Association (HACA), for the seventh year, is offering free assistance to the public in preparing income tax returns through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance or VITA program. The VITA site will be located at the HACA Center at 26 John Street, Hoosick Falls, the former home of the Falls Federal Credit Union. The service is provided by IRS certified VITA/TCE volunteer preparers.

Jess Olson On The College of Saint Rose Dean’s List
Jess Olson, daughter of Bobby and Kathie Olson of Stephentown, has been named to the Dean’s List at The College of Saint Rose for the fall 2010 semester. To be eligible for this honor a student must have a GPA of at least 3.5 and carry at least 12 credit hours for the semester.
Jess is a senior, majoring in Molecular Biology and a 2007 graduate of Berlin Central School.

Kaitlyn Hyde, a resident of Petersburgh, graduated from Morrisville State College in December with a degree in Individual Studies.
