Hoosick Falls Central School will sponsor the 5 Hour Prelicensing Class needed to take the NYS Driver’s test on Thursday, April 2. Registration begins at 4:30 pm in the High School Office. On Wednesday, April 1, the public is invited to attend a Town Hall Meeting at the Berlin Firehouse beginning at 6:30 pm. The students of the BCS SADD Chapter (Students Against Destructive Decisions) in collaboration with Rensselaer County Unified Services and the Tobacco Free Healthy Schools Program will present some startling statistics regarding alcohol, tobacco and drug use among our area youth. Berlin Class Of 2010 Bottle And Penny Drive Fund-Raiser For The Prom
The Junior Class is hosting a Bottle and Penny Drive Fund-raiser to raise money for the Prom. Girl Scout Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball
On Saturday, March 28, at the Walter B Howard Elementary School from 7 to 10 pm. The Stephentown, New Lebanon and Berlin Girl Scouts will present the Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball with dancing and refreshments, teddy bear give away dances, a complimentary bead necklace and crowning of a king and queen of the Ball. A photo backdrop is available. Souvenirs will be for sale. This is fun for the whole family. Tickets are on sale at the Stephentown Memorial Library and Angel’s Trumpet for $5. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Grafton VFD Breakfast
The Grafton Volunteer Fire Department, along with the Grafton Ladies Auxiliary, will be holding an all you can eat buffet style breakfast on Saturday, March 28, from 8 to 11 am at the Grafton VFW – Fire Hall on South Road (County Route 85) in Grafton. The menu includes Belgian waffles, pancakes, French toast, sausage, bacon, eggs (made to order), homefries, toast, orange juice, coffee and milk. The cost is $7 for adults, $4 for kids under 12 and free for kids 5 and under.
Tedisco Greets Constituents Of Pittstown
On March 21, the Pittstown Republican Committee hosted a Spring Fling dance at Guiseppe’s Restaurant in Pittstown. The event drew in over 85 community members that enjoyed the music played by the live band, Midnight Express.
