The helicopter that is used to transport severely injured and ill people, generally to the Albany Medical Center, landed at Grafton’s VFW last Wednesday, September 19, so members of area fire and EMS could get a better look at it, and learn first hand what the aircraft can do.

The Brunswick Elks Lodge on Tuesday, September 18, formally donated $2,000 to the Food Backpack Program that provides weekend food for students in the Brittonkill School District, some of whom face the prospect of having little to no food at home during times when school is not in session.

The Tamarac Bulldogs rolled into Hoosick Falls Sunday afternoon to play the Junior and Senior Panthers. Both the Junior and Senior Panthers came out of the afternoon with victories.
