Neighbors Opposing Motocross Track Re-Opening Ask Town To Intervene

A contingent of neighbors were at the Hoosick Town Board meeting on Monday July 8 to ask the Town to intervene in what appears to be a revival of a motocross track in West Hoosick.

A Raise For Town Highway Workers

The Hoosick Falls School Board hired Nicole Mahoney as Assistant High School Principal for the upcoming school year at its meeting on June 20. High School Principal Pat Dailey said the search committee was unanimous in choosing her over the other candidates.

Valley Avenue Apartments Ready To Respond To Environmental Questions

David Leon, the developer of the highly controversial apartment complex slated for lands behind Planet Fitness and to the south of Hoosick Road (NYS Route 7), informed the Brunswick Planning Board at its June 20 meeting, they are ready to respond to the questions and instructions contained in a 13 page scoping document, handed them at the board’s December 6, 2018 meeting.
