Verizon Cell Tower Clears One More Hurdle

The Brunswick Planning Board has declared that the Verizon Wireless plan to construct a cell tower on land at the corner of Creek Road and Menemsha Lane, in the southern portion of the town, will not have any significant environmental impact.

Truck Slips, Pins SUV Against Guard Rails

A pickup truck towing a horse trailer with one horse aboard slipped into the other lane on a greasy Route 7 Monday afternoon, January 11 and pinned a SUV with one man inside against the guard rails, leaving the man unable to exit the vehicle.
