**Everett Wagar Senior Center Seeking a Refrigerator**

Senior Day at the Fair

Join us for a fun filled day at Rensselaer County’s Schaghticoke Fair on Thursday, August 30. Transportation available for a donation of $1, seating is limited and you must be a Rensselaer County Senior Citizen age 60 or older. The van will leave the center at 9:30 am and depart from the fair at 2:30 pm.   Fair admission, lunch and amusements are at your own expense.  For more information or to make reservations please call 518- 279-3413.

Craft Day 

Craft class for the month will be held on Wednesday August 29, at 11 am, sponsored by the BlueShield of Northeastern New York.  Join us for a fun-filled hour all material will be supplied.  Please join us for a nutritious lunch at noon (Entrée; Haddock Square) for a suggested donation of $3.  All Rensselaer County seniors welcome, reservations are required for lunch and appreciated for crafts. Call 518-279-3413.

Grafton Merry Makers

The monthly meeting of the Grafton Merry makers will be held on Wednesday, September 12 at 5:30 pm at the Everett Wagar Senior Center.  

The evening will start with a dish a 5:30 pm followed by our monthly meeting at 6:30 pm.  If you are interested in this senior group or are planning on joining the Merry Makers please come to our meeting.  We  meet the second Wednsday of each month.  any questions, please call Betty Jean ant 518-272-8624.

Pittstown Seniors Meeting

The regular meeting for the Town of Pittstown Seniors will be Wednesday, Septmber 5.  The meeting will begin with a covered dish lunch at 11: 45 am with the business meeting to follow. We meet at the Raymertown Volunteer Fire Department located on Mason Lane in Raymertown. 

We have many exciting events coming for the Fall.  a favorite is the Lunch Cruise on Lake George. This year the cruise is set for Tuesday, September 11. We will be car pooling for this event.

Coming Events:

The Thanksgiving Lunch in November will be held at the Everett Wagar Senior Centre in Grafton.

The Town of Pittstown Seniors Christmas Part will be held in December.

Our October event will be discussed at the September meeting. 

Stephentown Seniors

The club meets the first and third Thursdays of each month at 1 pm at the Fire Hall on Grange Road.  Anyone 50 or older is invited to join. Guests are welcome.

Hoosick Falls Seniors

The Hoosick Falls Seniors are spopnsoring a bus trip to the Branson Country and Veterans Show at the Log Cabin in Holyoke, MA, on Monday, November 19.  The cost of the trip is $60.  This includes the bus ride, Family Style Luncheon at the Log Cabin, music and laughter.

The bus leaves Tops at 9:30 am.. Call the Senior Center to sign up, at 518-686-7561.

 Berlin Seniors

Turning Stone Casino on Wednesday, September 26. 

 Half Price Bingo Day. Comps $25 casino or $20 Bingo plus $5 Food. The cost is $6, due by Sept. 12.  Bus pick ups:  Berlin FD 7 am, Grafton Sr. Ctr 7:15 am and Tamarac Soccer Field at 7:30 am.
