The Stephentown Historical Society is showcasing the talents of Stephentown men who are artists and craftspeople this weekend. A sampling of their work will be held at the Stephentown Heritage Center on Saturday, April 9, from 10 am to 4 pm. On Sunday, April 10, from 1 to 4 pm, there will be a reception for these talented men. Light refreshments will be served.
[private]The talents featured in the Showcase include wood working, metal art sculptures, art, car and truck restoration, Shaker oval boxes, Shaker reproductions, and historical miniature models. In addition, one of the wood crafters has made a three-piece set of pen, letter opener and key fob of exotic wood to be raffled off to benefit the society.
Come learn more about the artists among us. They are Bob Adler, truck restorer, Anthony Beverly, woodworker, Bill Haight, painter/artist, John Allen Hoffman, salt and pepper shakers, William Jackson, metal sculptor, Neil Krebs, miniature historical war models, Bob Mittnight, car restorer, Ed Mullet, Shaker reproductions, Cliff Myers, Shaker oval boxes, Steve Pentak, painter/artist, and Bob Tibbetts, wood turning.
The Showcase is free and open to the public. The Stephentown Heritage Center is located at the corner of Garfield and Staples Roads and is handicapped accessible.[/private]
