Hoosick resident Sharon Sigot was first diagnosed with stage three breast cancer nine years ago. After a year of fighting, she proudly won her battle. Nearly five years later, her cancer returned, this time in her pancreas and liver. [private]Between chemotherapy almost once a week and various holistic practices, Sharon has been battling her cancer for almost four years now. The family asks everyone to join them at an event called “Hope for Sharon,” to help reach their goal of raising $15,000 to pay Sharon’s medical debt and fulfill her final wishes.
“Hope for Sharon” will be held 1 pm on Saturday, March 5, at HAYC3’s Owl’s Nest. A full buffet lunch and dessert table will be provided. There will be a silent auction, raffles, door prizes, and much more. Entry is $15 per adult, $5 per child. If you are unable to attend and still would like to make a donation, deposits can be made at Trustco Bank to the “Hope for Sharon” fund.
