Last Friday, September 20, the Panther boys varsity soccer team made the short trip up Route 22 to face the Cambridge Indians. HF defeated the Indians 7 – 0. Leading the scoring was Drew Phillips with 3 goals. Max Haar, Eric Kaufmann, Jeremy St. Onge and Alex LaBarge each scored a goal. Haar also put 3 assists in the books.
Tuesday the Panthers hosted the Stillwater Warriors at Delurey Field in Hoosick. Hoosick Falls scored twice in the first half. Stillwater came out in the second half and scored a goal within the first two minutes. That was the end of the scoring, and the Panthers came away with a 2 – 1 win.
This week the boys travel to Hoosic Valley on September 26 for a 4:15 start. On Monday, September 30, they again travel, this time to Chatham for a 6:30 match. Next Wednesday, October 2, finds Tamarac coming to Delurey Field for a 4:15 game.
