The New Lebanon Library will present the riveting film Vanishing of the Bees on Thursday, June 30, at 7 pm at the New Lebanon Library.
The film, which is narrated by Ellen Page, is an eye-opening account of the shocking truth behind the declining bee population, a phenomenon known as Colony Collapse Disorder. The film will be followed by discussion about this critical issue. Tony Pisano of the Northern Berkshire Beekeeping Association will be on hand to answer questions. Pisano is the cofounder of Berkshire Farms Apiary in North Adams, MA.
