As a part of the Ninth Annual Riverway Storytelling Festival, which runs from April 4-10, the Cheney Library will be hosting a free storytelling event at the Hoosick Falls Senior Service Center on Church Street. This event will take place on April 5 at 1:15 pm and will feature Storytellers Frank-Lee Speaking and Marni Gillard.
The Riverway Storytelling Festival is a project of Upper Hudson Library System. Nineteen free events have been scheduled throughout the week. Cheney Library has brochures that tell of the events, who will be the storytellers and the locations throughout the Capital District region or you can use the website, www.riverwaystorytellingfestival.org. This is an excellent opportunity to hear professional storytellers in our area. If you have any questions call 686-9401 and ask for Carol.
