The Board of Trustees of the New Lebanon Library are pleased to announce the completion of Phase Two of the building improvement project. Many patrons have already used the new community room, which is the centerpiece of Phase Two. This multipurpose room houses periodicals and our adult nonfiction collection and doubles as a program and meeting room. Heated and cooled geothermally, the room features a comfortable, well lit reading area, modern audiovisual equipment and a kitchenette. Also completed in Phase Two are a new courtyard/patio, two new restrooms and a new roof for the entire building.
Open House
The Trustees will host an open house Saturday, July 17, from 4 to 6 pm to officially celebrate Phase Two’s completion and to thank the many members of our community who are responsible for this project’s success. The public is welcome. The Library is located at 550 State Route 20, ¼ mile north of the yellow blinking light at the intersection of Routes 20/22 in New Lebanon.
