National Volunteer Week was celebrated at the Hoosick Falls Health Center with a luncheon for the Auxiliary hosted by Administrator Paul Corbett.
Mr. Corbett and Maureen Martinez, Director of Recreation, welcomed the Auxiliary, Board members and guests and thanked them all for all they do for the residents and Center throughout the year.
Jane Richardson, Food Service Director, and her staff prepared and served a delicious meal of cranberry spritzers, crunchy romaine lettuce and strawberry salad, roast tenderloin with roasted shallot sauce, grilled swordfish with beurre blanc, red skinned garlic mashed potatoes, summer vegetable sauté, rolls with butter and carrot cake for dessert.
