The North Hoosick Fire Department will sponsor its 7th annual free Christmas Bazaar which will be held on Saturday, December 19, from 9 am to 1 pm at the fire station on Rt. 22.
This year the Fire Department is asking area businesses and individuals to donate new or like-new items for this bazaar. Cash donations are also welcome and can be sent to the Fire Department. These donations will be used to purchase new items such as clothes, toys, shoes and games for children. Help make the holidays special for families in need. The bazaar is held each year to help out the needy families in the area who struggle to provide a nice Christmas for their children. Our goal is to put a smile on a child’s face on Christmas morning and, with the help of the community, we can make it happen.
Anyone who would like to donate items to this bazaar can bring their items to the fire station on Rt. 22 on Monday evenings between 6:30 and 9 pm – or contact the following members for assistance – Rick Ferrannini at 686-4728, Butch Conway at 686-5175 or Alan Bornt at 378-4538. If necessary, the Fire Department will pick up your items at your home.
