Strawberry shortcake will star at the Twenty-seventh Annual Strawberry Festival on Sunday, June 28, under the tent at The Berry Patch on Route 22 in Stephentown. The feast, a fund-raiser for the Stephentown Historical Society, runs from 11 am to 4 pm. Locally grown, freshly picked strawberries will be served on shortcake with real whipped cream and your choice of home baked biscuits or golden yellow cake or on ice cream sundaes. Pies, both whole and by the slice, will also be sold. You can also purchase jams, jellies and strawberries to take home. The Berry Patch is 1.7 miles south of the Stephentown traffic light.
