On Friday, February 13, the two Catering Classes at Berlin High School sponsored a free Valentine Luncheon for area Senior Citizens.
Fifty Seniors enjoyed a buffet of chicken, pasta alfredo, vegetables and rice pilaf. Homemade soup started the meal and luscious desserts including red velvet cake and petit fours topped off the event. The students not only cooked and waited on the Seniors, but they entertained them with trivia and Valentine Bingo. The students received rave reviews from the Senior Citizens attending. Another meal is being planned for May.
