All the big guys had had their shot. The score going into the final wrestling match against Corinth at the HFCS gym last Thursday, January 22, was 32-30. The remaining match pitted 112 pounders eighth-grader
Billy Pine against Corinth junior Tim Ross. The nail biter ended with a Pine 4-2 victory in overtime. The final score was 33-32 raising the Hoosick Falls team record to 9-4 overall for the season.
In other matches, Travis McMahon and Jeremy Burns both had pins. Jordan Robichaud won a technical fall 17-1, Matt Fogarty won his match 17-8 and Taylor Robichaud won a 9-8 decision.
