The game got off to a slow start with the Hoosac cagers trailing 2-0 after four minutes. The expanse of the RPI facility had a lot to do with the many missed shots. Finally Charles Wingate got on the board with a triple and then the team settled in for the remainder of the half.

Hoosac School Varsity Boys Basketball Team Wins BB&N Invitational Tournament
The Hoosac School Owls traveled to Cambridge, Massachusetts the weekend of December 29 to take part in the 10th annual Buckingham, Browne & Nichols Knights invitational basketball tournament. The field was comprised of both large and small schools from the prestigious New England Prep School League.
Hoosac, by far the smallest of the tournaments participants, opened its action against host BB&N at 9 am on Saturday. Hoosac dressed just seven players for the tournament due to holiday travel conflicts for several of their players, but that proved to be enough as they defeated BB&N 57-45 in a hard fought opening game. Junior Benas Maslauskas and Freshman Unique McLean led the Owls in scoring with 16 points each while Charles Wingate ran the point position superbly and contributed 11 points in the win.
