Sage Women’s Basketball Team Wins Skyline Championship

Seeded third in the 2017 Skyline Conference Womens Basketball Tournament, Sage’s women’s basketball team captured the league’s championship on Saturday afternoon, knocking off top seeded SUNY-Old Westbury in the finals, 72-66, led by an explosive performance by Hoosick Falls Central graduate Frankie Pearson. Wood Pellet Boiler Will Be Removed From HFCS Campus

At the January 19 School Board meeting, Hoosick Falls Central School District Superintendent Ken Facin said the wood pellet boiler that was installed in the summer of 2014 with great hopes of reducing and stabilizing the District’s heating costs will be removed in April, and all of the District’s financial commitments to pay for it will be reversed.
