“This was a close competitive match that we needed to get back into the routine of a good match which challenged the bowlers. We needed to have a little pressure during the match which we haven’t had for the last four matches. We didn’t have our best game totals of the season but we bowled good enough to win each game and total. The team responded to the pressure of making spares when they were needed or to strike out in the tenth frame which was necessary to win the game. We needed this match to get ready for our important matches next week,” said Coach Lang.

“We bowled great as a team today against mostly “A” and “B” schools. Stephen had his all time high series of 762. Ken Marbot and Josh McCart also had great triples to lead the team to another great finish in a tournament which is held at the lanes where Sectionals will be in February. This finish helped build their confidence for the remainder of our league season, league tournament, league roll-offs and Sectionals,” Coach Lang said.

“The team bowled great with some really good scores. This was the best team total that we have ever had at Granville. They started out with some good games in the first game then had to make some lane adjustments in the second game and bowled more good games as the lanes broke down. The team is starting to put everything together at the right time of the year as we get to the end of the regular season and into tournaments,” Coach Lang said.

“This was another great team effort with some good scores. It was a good win against the third best team in the league. Anytime we get over 3,600 pins for a match score, I am very happy, and we have done that the last three times out. We have to keep working hard to keep this great streak of good bowling going into the end of season events. I am very proud of how we have come together as a team,” Coach Lang said.
