Many Questions Answered At PFOA Meeting

The C-8 Group in Petersburgh held a very successful meeting on PFOA issues on Tuesday September 6 at the PVMCC. There was a large panel of experts there, including DEC Region 4 Director Keith Goetz and three others from DEC, three from NYS Dept. of Health, two from the EPA, and four from the County, including Kathy Jimino, Stan Brownell, Mary Fran Wachunas and Rich Elder.

The Berlin Girls’ Soccer Team had its first league contest at Rensselaer well in hand by halftime and cruised to a 6-0 victory over their Central Hudson Valley League opponent. Jewel Pietrzak, Berlin’s all-time leading scorer, netted another three goals in the contest, two from the field and one on a penalty kick. New Lebanon High School Reunion Held On July 10

New Lebanon High School’s Alumni Reunion Dinner Saturday, July 10, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Pittsfield was well attended by 183 alumni and 45 guests. The gathering has been very well attended for the past 11 years, and it’s largely the doing of 1949 graduate Richard Burns who has footed the bill for the Dinner all of those years.
