Berkshire Students Celebrate Successful 18Th Annual Plant Sale

A Must-See Exhibit: “Catastrophe Hats and Other Recent Works”  by Artist Maggi Randall

Southern Vermont College (SVC) is pleased to exhibit “Catastrophe Hats and Other Recent Works” by Southern Vermont artist Maggi Randall. The exhibit is available for viewing June 4 through July 8 in Everett Mansion’s Burgdorff Gallery. The public and friends of the artist are encouraged to attend Randall’s opening reception on Saturday, June 4, from 3 to 5 pm. in the Gallery. The Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on weekends by arrangement with the Campus Safety Office. HVCC Foundation Awards Scholarships

Kinder Morgan Withdraws Application For Pipeline

NED is now truly dead.
Kinder Morgan officially withdrew its application to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for the Northeast Energy Direct (NED) pipeline on Monday. The company did not provide any further explanation for ending the high pressure natural gas project which would have cut across southern Rensselaer County, including Stephentown, on the way to New England. Stephentown’s Youth Summer Camp Accepting Registrations!

Stephentown’s summer youth day camp program will operate again this year under the direction of the Stephentown Memorial Library. Berlin School Vote

The Berlin Central School District’s proposed 2016-2017 budget of $19,560,875 easily passed at the polls Tuesday night.
