County Veterans Hall Seeks Donations For Flag Poles
The Schaghticoke Fair Fundraising Committee is currently converting a section of the Freihofer’s Building into a Veterans Hall. We are seeking donations to purchase three additional flag poles to place in front of the current Friehofer’s Building at the Fair for a total of six, one for each branch of the service and one for the American flag. We have funds for three.
We also need to purchase binders, page protectors, frames, etc. to display information on our Rensselaer County Veterans. This project has just gotten under way and with interest from the community will hopefully go forward. Also, any military information or pictures, etc. would be appreciated and could be copied or photographed from the originals.
