The Shaker Museum and Library is raffling off a spectacular Yankees/Red Sox dream baseball package. The package includes Champions Suite Seating at Yankee Stadium, four front row seats in Section 12 – next to the ball boy, between first and right field – bring your glove, access to the Ketel One Bar with free food, soft beverages and snack bar (alcohol not included) and access to the Audi Yankee Club/Mohegan Sun Sports Bar.

Run For The Rhubarb

The Second Annual Run for the Rhubarb will be held on Sunday, May 20, at 9 am in Shatford Park in New Lebanon. There will be a 5k race, a Kids Run, a 5k Walk, a Moving Sale, food and fun activities for the family. This is a fundraiser for the Mountain Road School.
Day of race registration is between 7:30 and 8:30 am or you may register on line at www.albanyrunningexchange.org or www.active.com. For more information call 518-794-8520.

New Lebanon Central School Memorial Day Assembly

On Wednesday, May 23, at 9 am, the New Lebanon Jr./Sr. High School will be hosting its second annual Memorial Day Assembly to honor our servicemen and women and all who gave their lives in defense of our country. This year we are proud to welcome Congressman and US Army Veteran Chris Gibson as our featured speaker.
All veterans and current members of any branch of the military are invited to join the American Legion Post #1236 of New Lebanon and the Berkshire Chapter 65 Vietnam Veterans of America in the high school gymnasium as our honored guests. Family and community members are also welcome and encouraged to attend the festivities in memory of our fallen heroes and in celebration of those who serve.
