The Capital District Friday Field Group, formed in 1993, is a mix of amateur and professional naturalists that meets weekly on Fridays at 5:30 pm between April and September to explore the natural features of sites in the Capital Region. Marion K. Robbins
Canaan – Marion Koch Robbins, 92, of Westford, MA, died on Saturday morning, May 19, 2012, at the Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA. She has resided with her daughter in Canaan, NY, for the past five years.
Born in Elkton, MN, on March 10, 1920, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Alma Jech Koch. She was the loving wife of the late Donald A. Robbins, who died in 1988. Marion was a member of the First Congregational Church in Pittsfield.

New Lebanon Central School Budget Vote Results

Proposition 1, the budget, passed 249 to 84. Proposition 2, an amendment to the Capital Reserve Fund, passed 205 to 82. Proposition 3, establishing a student ex officio School Board Member, passed 209 to 77.
Two seats on the School Board were up for election. One was won by Tracy Bingham with 249 votes. The other was won by Monique Wood with 227 votes.
