The Board Learns That New Tennis Courts Are Expensive

New Lebanon’s “beaten to death” tennis courts will get beaten a little more to death before they are brought back to life, it was more or less decided at last Tuesday’s monthly Board meeting.

On Saturday, October 24 Brown’s Brewing and CiviCure are excited to present Farm to Canvas, an event combining the profound pleasure of collecting art with the excitement of a lottery where every ticket holder is a winner. The goal of Farm to Canvas is to grow the audience for original artwork while supporting the restoration of Hoosick Falls’ Wood Block Opera House. Berkshire Union Free School District (BUFSD) has applied for and received a $900,000 Career Development and Occupational Studies (CDOS) grant from the NYS Education Department.
