International Musician Sean Gaskell To Play West African Kora At New Lebanon Library

Internationally renowned musician Sean Gaskell will perform at the New Lebanon Library on Friday, April 8 at 6:30 pm. The program, which is free and open to the public, will feature works for the Kora, an ancient 21-stringed harp from West Africa.  Gaskell will perform traditional songs that are the heart and soul of the Kora’s musical repertoire in addition to some of his own personal compositions. Farmland Protection Grant Workshops Offered To Local Farmers

Two Communities Joining Together To Re-Establish High School Wrestling In The Taconic Valley

The Berlin High School’s reentry into the sport of wrestling was a year marked by growing pains.  When the season started with their first scrimmage at Hoosick Falls, they had nearly a full team and high hopes.  By season’s end, they were down to just a few wrestlers, most having dropped out along the way.  Now coach D.J.
