BCS’s Newest Sports Team Right On Target

Berlin, NY—This spring, Berlin High School established its first Clay Target Team. After Coach June Hoffman’s husband, Bob Hoffman, learned about the New York State Clay Target League through a flyer on Facebook, the wheels were motion.

Tuesday, May 21. Played at Holy Names in Albany. This semi-final round of the Section 2, Class D sectionals the #3 seeded Hoosick Falls Panthers faced off against #2 seeded Holy Names.

Saturday, May 11. Played at Tamarac HS. On red, white and gold day for Pediatric Cancer, Tamarac’s Dalton Maxon hit an out-of-the-park home run and had two RBI’s while Tristan Nemjo threw six innings with 12 stikeouts on the mound for the win.
