A Raucous Public Comment Session At Town Board Meeting

Efforts to establish a three town paid ambulance during daytime hours led to some questions about a recent meeting. The meeting in question about the ambulance took place on Thursday, August 6, with representatives of Berlin, Petersburgh and Grafton present.

Water Woes Impact Municipal Supplies

During the past week, the Water District Superintendents in both Berlin and Petersburgh have issued boil water advisories, although Berlin’s has since been rescinded. The reasons for the advisories differ although the inconvenience is the same.

New Mohawk Ambulance Garage Opens

Since the Mohawk Ambulance Service announced last year it planned to build a new garage on McChesney Avenue in Brunswick many had hoped it would be at least a partial solution to the ambulance availability problems for eastern and central Rensselaer County. The answer is yes and no.

NYS Buys Forest Land Along The Taconic Ridge
