Stephentown Lighted Parade

November 15, 2024 By Eastwick Press

The Stephentown Volunteer Fire Department is once again partnering with the Stephentown Senior Citizens, the Town of Stephentown, and the Stephentown Veterans to sponsor a Lighted Parade and tree lighting on Saturday, November 30th. This year the tree lighting at the Veterans Park will kick off the parade – the tree lighting will be held prior to the lighted parade.

Lineup for the parade will take place at Cinch Em Up Stables, 365 State Route 43, Stephentown, beginning at 4 pm; please don’t arrive prior to then. Participants will be lined up by fire department personnel. The parade will step off as soon as the tree lighting ceremony has ended. Parade participants will march from the Veterans Park over Route 43 to Grange Hall Road and end at the Stephentown Volunteer Fire Department Hall at 35 Grange Hall Road. Santa & Mrs. Claus will be at the fire hall for pictures and light refreshments.

All entries for the parade must have holiday lights. No walkers please. Entries should register on the fire department website. Head over to svfd1.org to fill out your registration form. SVFD is continuing to partner with Dollar General in the annual toy drive. Please consider bringing an unwrapped toy to donate.
