Performing Arts Council Award Ceremony

On the night of Tuesday, June 6th, the Music Department held its annual Performing Arts Council award ceremony. Dozens of students were honored for their performances throughout the year, including at All-County festivals, NYSSMA, and Albany Pro Musica. Drama Club students were also recognized for their hard work this year.

Also, a handful of special awards were given out for most improved, star performer, and excellence.

Most Improved – Band
Junior Band: Asher Colegrove
Concert Band: Ryan Sparks and Mea Cleary
Symphonic Band: Alex Shea and Carson Glover

Most Improved – Chorus
Junior Chorus: Grace Eastman, Jacob Michaels, and Lilliana Zwinge
Senior Chorus: Eric Bounds, Shane Hatlee, and Kaylee Colby

Star Performer – Band
Junior Band: Lilly Parent, Grady Rowlands, Abigail Weeden, and Bret Giglio
Concert Band: Jackson Shea and Carter Stratton
Symphonic Band: Aiden Fleming and Wyatt Hall

Star Performer – Chorus
Junior Chorus: Grady Rowlands, Abigail Weeden, Jack Mallory, Mason Amodeo-Duket, and Bret Giglio
Senior Chorus: Shane Hatlee, Ryanna Rose, Emmalena Murphy, and Eric Bounds

Luther Everly Award: Reagan Kessler

Gilmore Award: Danielle Stratton

John Philip Sousa Award: Emily Yeung and Brooke Taber

William Gaillard Award: Grace Lajeunesse

Elouise Canizeri Award: Gabriel Thompson

National Choral Award: Grace Lajeunesse

Hildegard Choral Award: Mary Pilot

8th Grade Drama Award: Delana Aubin, Addison Fleming, and Emma Wilwol
