NYS Police Press Release
Brunswick Troopers arrested a Hoosick Falls man on Friday, June 1, after executing a search warrant in the Village of Hoosick Falls. Christopher Springer, 22, was charged with Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, both Felonies. An investigation by the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and State Police Troop G Computer Crimes Unit led Troopers to obtain a search warrant at Springer’s residence where electronic items were seized.
Springer was arrested by Brunswick Troopers on the same charges last year in the Village of Hoosick Falls after a search warrant was executed under similar circumstances. That case is still pending. Springer was arraigned by the Honorable Lawrence Kronau in the Town of Brunswick Court. He was remanded to the Rensselaer County Jail in lieu of bail, and is due to appear in the Village of Hoosick Falls Court at a later date. Hoosick Falls Village Police assisted at the scene.
