HF 61 – Voorheesville 37
Saturday, January 27 at HFCS. HF Overall 11-4, League 10-0. After a close first quarter that ended with the Panthers holding a 11-10 lead, the Panthers outscored the Blackbirds 50-27 over the remainder of the game to grab the win. Evan McCart had 17 points, while Jon Kempf and Guy MIlliman each added 14. The junior varsity lost 53-30.

HF 73 – Tamarac 38
Friday, January 26 at Tamarac. For much of the first half the Bengals hung with the Panthers. The Panthers got the lead early and held onto it, but the Bengals were always within reach. With just over two minutes left in the half, the Panthers began to pull away. The Panthers dominated the third quarter, outscoring the Bengals 27-13 to take a 64-31 end of third quarter lead and cruised from there. Evan McCart scored 23 points, Milliman added 19 and Kempf dropped in 14. The junior varsity lost 53-46.
Berlin 34 – Cambridge 54
Friday, January 26. Tristin Williams scored 25 points to lead the Indians over the Mountaineers. Ryan Willis scored 14 and Tyler Kellar added 14 for Berlin.
In other action Mechanicville fell to Stillwater, 49-55, Greenwich fell to Spa Catholic 37-54; Waterford downed Hoosic Valley 54-47.
Girls
HF 44 – Mt. Anthony 50
Monday, January 29 at HFCS. HF Overall 7-8. The Panthers grabbed an 18-10 lead at the end of the first quarter while Mt. Anthony struggled to score throughout the half. For the second and third quarters it was the Panthers who struggled. The Patriots came alive in the third quarter, outscoring the Panthers 18-4 to take a lead they never gave up. Logan Thayne had 19 points for the Panthers.
HF 50 – Tamarac 55
Friday, January 26 at HFCS. In a game that was close throughout, the score was 42 all at the end of three quarters, Tamarac outscored the Panthers by five in the fourth quarter to grab the win. Reena Poulin led the Bengals with 26 points, Emily Erickson added 12 and Kayla Doody had 10. Logan Thayne scored 22 points, Eliza Whitman had 11 and Noreen McAuliffe scored 10 in the loss.
Cambridge 56 – Hoosic Valley 36
Saturday. Cambridge continues to mow ’em down. Sophie Phillips scored 16 points, Lilly Phillips and Fiona Mooney added 10 each.
Cambridge 70 – Berlin 4
Friday. The score at the half was 54-0. The Berlin High School Class of 2018 will still be chuckling about this game at their 25th Class Reunion in 2043. Lilly and Sophie Phillips each scored 15 and Fionna Mooney added 11 for Cambridge.
Stillwater 40 – Mechanicville 51
Marley Mueller scored 16 for Stillwater and Sammy Pasinella scored 20 to lead Mechanicville.
