Barry F. Buck

Berlin

Barry F. Buck, 69, died Monday, December 18, at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. Born in Bennington, VT on December 13, 1948, he was the son of the late Robert and Iverna Lapine Buck. Barry was raised and educated in Arlington, VT and moved to Berlin, NY in 1974.

He was employed by the Town of Berlin for 6 ½ years as a driver and mechanic. He later was employed by Berlin Central School as a bus mechanic for 20 years before retiring in 2004.

Barry enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is the beloved husband of Hattie M. Jones Buck whom he married on July 6, 1974 in Berlin; loving father of Annette (late Steven) Bell and Barry R. (Amy) Buck both of Berlin; grandfather of Chelsy, Shayne, Jeremy, Ciarra, Michael, Kyle and Daniel and is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Peter’s Hospital Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208 or to the Ronald McDonald House, 139 S. Lake Avenue, Albany, NY 12208.

Arrangements are by the Thomas M. Barber Funeral Home in Petersburgh. Condolence book at ParkerBrosMemorial.com.
