Audrey Arlene (Haskins) Schnyer Kennedy

Audrey Arlene (Haskins) Schnyer Kennedy, 88, passed away late Saturday evening, November 25, 2017 at Williamstown Commons, Williamstown, MA., after a short illness. Born in Holbrook, MA, on January 29, 1929, she was the daughter of LeRoy and Iva (Higgins) Haskins. She was raised and educated in Holbrook, and lived there much of her life until moving to Stephentown in the fall of 2012 with her husband Jim. Audrey worked to support her family at various jobs, the last of which was Foxboro Corporation of Massachusetts. She loved her family, animals, gardening, and the simple life, always finding joy in the small things, like sunshine and rainbows. She loved her word search puzzles, crocheting, reading, feeding the birds, and watching her shows.

Audrey was predeceased by her husbands Bernard M. Schnyer in 1972 and James Kennedy in 2013. She is survived by her three children: Stephen Schnyer (Mary) of Stephentown, Arlene Longo (Joseph) of Stephentown and Cathy Provenzano of Holbrook, MA. She leaves five grandchildren: Scott Schnyer of Cambridge, MA, Christopher Schnyer of Tequesta, FL, Vincent Provenzano of Assonet, MA, James (Jake) Provenzano of Rockland, MA and Janine Provenzano of Bend, OR.

To honor Audrey’s memory, the family is planning a memorial service to be held in the spring or early summer. If you would like to attend, please contact the family so they can share more details as they are known. Her arrangements were entrusted to the Hall & Higgins Funeral Home in Stephentown, NY.
