Samuel  Lanphere Cure

Grandin, Missouri
Samuel (Sam) L. Cure, 73, passed away on September 25th,2017. He resided in Grandin Missouri with his wife, Wilma. Sam was born April14, 1944 along with his twin sister, Sandra King to Sarah L and Walter C. Cure while residing in East Schodack, NY.

Sam was a member of the Logan Creek Baptist Church in Missouri. Sam received his education in the Berlin Central School district. Throughout his life he took great pleasure in woodworking, hunting and in his later years his miniature horses and goats on his farm he built. Sam was employed by the Berlin Central School District and Taconic Plastics, Petersburgh NY before relocating to Missouri.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma. daughter, Donna (Tim) Roden of New Lebanon, NY. His Son, Joseph Cure of New Hampshire . His four step-daughters; Nancy Sullivan, Wendy Raney, Julia Orick and Sheila Wagy all of Missouri. His is also survived by six Sisters, Barbra Morse of Pittsfield, MA,Virginia Cottrell of Lewistown, PA, Tena Harrington of Petersburgh, NY. Sandra King, Pittsfield MA, Wanda (Bud) Reed of Warrensburg, NY and Sarah Jane Cure of Albany, NY. Also four Grandchildren, eight step-Grandchildren, six step-great grandchildren and many Nieces and Nephews.

Sam has gone home to his Lord, his Mom and Dad (Sarah and Walter) along with his Sisters, Helen Waters of Nassau, NY, Frederica (Tookie) Wolfrum of Eagle Bridge, NY and Myra Frye of Dover, DE.

Services were held at Edwards Funeral Home In Doniphan, MO with Brother Doug Rose officiating. Sam was laid to rest at Beaver Dam Cemetery in Missouri on September 28th 2017.
