Donna L. Parker

Donna L. Parker passed away on Sunday October 1 at the Rivers Edge Community Care Home in Bennington, Vermont. Donna has spent the last few years living at Rivers Edge, receiving extraordinary care. Donna was born in  Hoosick Falls, New York the Daughter of the late Leroy and Alice (Bryant) Baker. Donna had various jobs in production throughout her life. She retired from Isola Laminates in Hoosick Falls. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church and Eagles #2467 in Hoosick Falls. Donna enjoyed bingo, traveling,playing cards, bowling and belonging to the Red Hatters, going to the senior center in Hoosick Falls, spending time with her family grand kids and friends and her trips to Florida to visit her daughter.
Survivors include her two daughters Sandra Stevens(Greg)of Odessa, Florida, Lisa Stone(Richard) of Hoosick Falls, New York her three grandchildren Raymond Niles Jr., Adam Stone and Ashley Stevens, her two sisters Beverly James, Noreen Stevens (Jesse)both of Hoosick Falls as well as a sister-in law Shirley Parker. She was predeceased by a brother Leroy Baker.
The Funeral Service was held on Thursday October 5, at 9:00 am from the Mahar Funeral Home, 43 Main Street, Hoosick Falls, New York. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday October 4 from 5:00-7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Rivers Edge Community Care Home, VNA Hospice of Southwest Region or the Karen and Molly McGovern Fund through the funeral home.
