Recently candidates Dennis Smith and Michael Hickey submitted their petitions to the Rensselaer County Board of Elections in Troy.
They are running for the Rensselaer County legislature to represent the residents of District #5 in Berlin, Grafton, Hoosick, Petersburgh and Stephentown.
Dennis and Michael have made visits to several events in the District and hope to reach out to as many voters as possible between now and November and listen to the issues and concerns important to District #5 residents.
