Troop 222 Helps To Clean Up At Cherry Plain State Park As Part Of Earth Day 2017

Boy Scout Troop 222 spent the morning of Earth Day on Saturday April 22 completing some Environmental Service projects at Cherry Plain State Park. [private]

The Troop was tasked with removing downed tree limbs and making piles for the Park staff to grind up. Then the Troop moved along to clearing some campsites of dead wood and leaves.

Troop 222 is happy to announce that Scout Matthew Allen Moran was awarded his Eagle rank at a Court of Honor. held on Monday April 24 at the PVMCC.

Matt now attends RPI studying Engineering and is finishing up his freshman year. Matt gave the Troop some sage advice when it comes to getting your Eagle project done – do it early as you can in your career and prioritize your activities, make sure you balance your activities so you can earn your Eagle rank. [/private]
