Two Lot Line Adjustments Garner Approval

By Doug La Rocque

The transfer of 9.27 acres of land between Bill Moss and Bill Crandall along Blue Factory Road received the unanimous approval of the Board following a public hearing at which no one spoke. [private] The changes leave Crandall with about nine acres of land for his homestead.  A very minor lot line adjustment between Raymond and Patricia Dufour with Nicola and Angela Petitti also got the green light.  This involves the swapping of small portions of land to fix what surveyor Bill Darling describes as the choking off of the DuFour’s driveway.  Again, there were no speakers at the public hearing.  Planning Board Chairman Tom Withcuskey declared there was no negative environmental impact involving either proposal.

With Planning Board member Jim Goyer stepping away and recusing himself from any discussion or vote, the Board accepted a proposal for a border line adjustment between Mr. Goyer and his father, Harold Goyer.  Jim Goyer is acquiring two parcels of land from Harold, each small plots of about one-half to one-third of an acre.

The property is along County Route 85, known in Grafton as South Road.  This still leaves Harold Goyer with about 18 acres of land.  The board set Monday, June 19 at 6:50 pm as the time for the public hearing.  Surveyor Darling is also handling this transfer, and told the Board he would have the map of the changes to them shortly.[/private]
