Berlin HS Dramateers Present Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”

This Friday and Saturday, March 24 & 25, the Berlin HS Dramateers will perform Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and book by Doug Wright.

Returning the Berlin stage after her performance in this year’s MS Dramateers production of “Willy Wonka, Jr.” is Nora Colin in the role of Flounder.

The cast and crew is made up of students from grades 8-12 and led by returning seniors; Sarah French (Ariel), Alex Flowers (Prince Eric), Ioann Popov (King Triton), Samantha Hebert (Allana), Sam Mikit (Grimsby), Noah Roy (Chef Louis), Taylor Meyer (pit band), Christina Shupe (stage crew) and Matt Dundas (stage crew manager). There are also many returning underclassman filling out the cast and crew; Seiji Akera (Sebastian), Rachel Cahill (Jetsam), Domnika Popov (Flotsam), Amanda Despart (Arista), Cayla Hungerford (Aquata), Demi DeGennaro (Andrina)
Melanie deLaurentis (Atina), and Greta Hermann (Adella). If you haven’t guessed already, all the A-names are Ariel’s sisters.

Showtime is 7 pm both nights. There will be concession sales during intermission provided by the Junior and Senior classes. For advanced reservations contact Suzanne Hermann at 658-9837.
