Hoosick Falls Elementary School Student Writing Letters To Santa For A Good Cause

November 28, 2016 By eastwickpress

submitted by Brian Bushner
As the holidays approach we ask your support to help a young man with a very big wish!
As a baby Luke Hoag was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and at three years old he was granted a wish from Make-A-Wish. A firm believer in the power of wishes, Luke has set a goal to raise $50,000 to make the wishes of other children come true this year. You can help by writing letters to Santa.[private]

For each letter that Luke delivers to Macy’s on “Believe Day,” $2 will be donated to Make-A-Wish. Just like last year, high school students, elementary students, and community members will all be busy writing as many letters as possible. We only have until December 9 to help Luke meet his goal! He will be delivering his letters that day, so we need to act quickly. Let’s believe in wishes this season, and start writing!
Please forward this on to other schools and organizations that might like to participate and help Luke to reach his goal. Please send all letters to:
Hoosick Falls Central School
C/O Michelle Kane or Katie Brownell
P.O. Box 192
Hoosick Falls, New York 12090
Keep checking the school website (http://hoosickfallscsd.org/) for updates and videos of Luke speaking to Panther TV. We have to receive all of the letters by Thursday, December 8, so that Luke can deliver them the next day.[/private]
