Authorities say slushy roads help contribute to a pickup truck losing control while traveling eastbound on Route 2 Thursday evening, October 27, sliding across the road and coming to rest on its side on the west shoulder of the highway.

No other vehicles were involved. Traffic was slowed around the scene but no road closures occurred. The Grafton Fire Department and the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Department also responded.
