Berlin Volunteer Fire Company Annual Fund Drive

November 3, 2016 By eastwickpress

Since 1904, the Berlin Volunteer Fire Company has served the Town with the utmost dedication and care. [private] As professionally trained volunteers, the Fire Department, Rescue Squad, and Auxiliary are here to help the community not just as emergency responders but also as neighbors and as friends.  No matter the time of day, the weather, holiday or occasion, we are here to serve.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated membership, albeit small, and a town committed to providing us with the proper equipment needed to safely perform our duties.  However, the support of our residents is crucial to the day-to-day operation of our organization.  Your fire company depends on you.

Being a volunteer organization, donations are a key asset.  We are currently conducting a fundraising drive. We do not solicit door to door or by phone.  As part of our fundraising efforts, Town of Berlin residents, businesses, and property owners will soon receive a tri-fold pamphlet in the mail from the fire company.

We ask for your support this year by considering a donation to our annual fund drive using the envelope enclosed in our mailing to you.  Please take the time to read the important information it contains.  We are a 501c(3) non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.

The Berlin Volunteer Fire Company meets at the firehouse on 11 Community Ave in Berlin every Tuesday at 7 pm and new members are always welcome.

Please be aware, if you are solicited for a donation by telephone for the Berlin Volunteer Fire Company, the caller does not represent the Fire Company and you should not respond to that request and immediately notify the authorities.[/private]
