Stardusters To Perform In North Bennington

September 22, 2016 By eastwickpress

On Saturday, October 15, the Stardusters Big Band from Hoosick Falls, will perform during the Village School of North Bennington’s “Moonlight Merriment” event, held at the Park McCullough Carriage Barn in North Bennington.

[private]The Stardusters big band plays music from the 1930s and 40s as well as selected standards up through the present. The band was formed in Hoosick Falls, New York in 1975 by several musicians who grew up during the time of the “big bands” and wanted to recreate that sound in a present day dance orchestra. The band consists of musicians (both adults and students) primarily from the Hoosick Falls – Bennington, VT area.

The event is catered by Pangaea Fine Dining with a cash bar and also features a silent auction with an assortment of art-related items including tickets to Hubbard Hall’s 2016/17 theatre season, art and dance camp certificates, fine art pieces and much more!
