New Lebanon BOE Appoints Jr/Sr High School Assistant Principal/Athletic Director

On September 13 the New Lebanon Board of Education announced it had appointed Joshua Noble as the next Jr/Sr High School assistant principal/athletic director.[private]

“I am extremely honored and excited to be named the Assistant Principal/Athletic Director for New Lebanon Jr/Sr High School.  It is a special opportunity to be able to join such a positive and caring community.

I am really looking forward to being able to work with students and teachers and make connections with our families and community,” said Noble.

Noble began his teaching career in the Smithtown Central School District teaching 6th grade mathematics and ELA from 2003-2004, before moving on to Chatham Central School District teaching  multiage 4-8 mathematics and science from 2004 to 2016. Noble completed his administrative internship in 2016, and has chaired the Child Study/RTI Team, Technology Planning Committee, and Environmental Awareness Committee and served as Parent Portal Coordinator for Chatham CSD.

“Being an educator is an incredibly rewarding opportunity.  Working with kids is a special privilege that I have always cherished.  As Assistant Principal/Athletic Director I look forward to continuing to help our school community grow and be successful,” said Noble.

Noble has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from SUNY Oswego, a Master of Science in Middle Education from Walden University, completed the School Building Leader Program, MCLA Leadership Academy, and completed the School District Leader Program, MCLA Leadership Academy.

“We are proud to add Joshua Noble to the New Lebanon family.  His open personality and positive attitude are a good fit for our community and we appreciate his experience and skills,” said Superintendent Leslie Whitcomb. “We all look forward to getting to know him better as he settles into his role as an administrator.”[/private]
